If you've been looking for information on fairground model making, where to buy ride design plans and kits, then this site is all you need. All MFD content and lists on this site have the express permission and approval from Douglas Roseaman Engineering for its use, I wish to thank Doug for making this site possible.
Doug Roseaman Engineering is the only full time dedicated business to fairground modelling. Vic King started the Model Fairground Designs range many years ago, although has since handed all his work to Douglas Roseaman. Doug is a life long model maker and charterd engineer, he has also contributed to several books and won awards for sevices to the fairground modelling hobby community.
There are many plans and kits available to purchase in a range of scale sizes. Not only can you purchase plans and kits, you can also purchase l.e.d's, cast figures, motors and much more. If you are new to modelling, I would advise you to start with the MFD-6 Gavoili Organ. This Organ is easly made and will enable you to build up your modelling skills. Once your skills are up to scratch, progress on to a more involed model.
If you ever find there is a part for your model and your unable to make it yourself, Doug will gladly make it for you at a modest cost. I had Doug form my Waltzer cars from the sheet metal cut outs, when I recieved them back, I couldn't beleave how perfectly formed they were. Doug is more than happy to help out any customer with there model, but please do study the plans and instructions carefully to avoid wasting his limited time.
